Durham School for Girls, Doha is delighted to announce its Secondary Senior Leadership Team for the 2026-2027 academic year, further strengthening the school's commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, safeguarding and outstanding pastoral care.

Leading Secondary with Experience and Continuity

Ms Rebecca Saunders, currently Secondary Deputy Head (Academic), has been appointed Head of Secondary. Having worked closely with students, staff and families over the past 18 months, Ms Saunders brings a wealth of experience, professionalism and a deep understanding of the school. Her appointment ensures continuity and a seamless transition as Durham continues to build on its many successes.

Strengthening the Senior Leadership Team

Joining the leadership team are Ms Stephanie Gomaa as Deputy Head Safeguarding, Wellbeing, Enrichment and Health and Safety, Ms Kirsten Eaton as Deputy Head Pastoral, Ms Shanaz Gordan as Deputy Head Academics and Ms Gloria Caballero as Head of Inclusion. Together, they bring extensive educational and leadership experience from leading British international schools across the Middle East and beyond.
